We are hiring a Member Services & Operations Manager
The Member Services & Operations Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of the business including member management and equipment, staff management, training and the day-to-day running of the facility. This position is hands-on and the ideal candidate will be service-orientated and have thorough knowledge of the fitness and wellness industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Member and billing software.
- Manage Member Perks Program.
- Improve member retention.
- Work with and manage the administration team.
- Retain and effectively grow corporate sales and develop new business opportunities.
- Complete management of staff schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness of the physical site and ensure regular maintenance of equipment.
- Cover Member Service desks for vacations, sickness, lunch cover and when needed
- Must be familiar with and able to assume any position within the Court House Squash & Wellness companies, including but not limited to, membership desk, equipment checks, equipment and facility cleaning.
- Organise and manage instructor class schedule and arrange class cover.
- Monitor class intensity and safety guidelines of all classes.
- Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures in all areas.
- Create a nurturing, supportive image of the company within the business community by participating in fundraisers and charitable events.
- Assisting in the recruitment of personnel.
- Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of three years of Management experience in the health and fitness industry.
- Must have strong organization background and leadership qualities.
- Project Management
- Personal Training and Group Exercise Certification will be an advantage
- Current CPR and AED certification
- The position will include evenings and/or weekends.
